When I bought the house 10 years ago - I spent one summervacation cleaning the flowerbed next to my neighbour for "Ground elders". Then asked the neighbour to do the same on their side. But they could not find out how to. Now I am tire of looking at a flowerbed with lots of weeds that I could not keep up with.So - again I have removed all the roots (white, spagetti like ) also remowed the gardentiles. Placed a cloth that stops the weeds from coming up but allowes the rain to come down - and carried lots of granite chippings to the flowerbed. And this is how it looks.I hope that I will have very little work to do in this part of the garden for many years. (But the edge alon the fence is very green - full of ground elder leaves) |
