When I bought the house 10 years ago - I spent one summervacation cleaning the flowerbed next to my neighbour for "Ground elders". Then asked the neighbour to do the same on their side. But they could not find out how to. Now I am tire of looking at a flowerbed with lots of weeds that I could not keep up with.So - again I have removed all the roots (white, spagetti like ) also remowed the gardentiles. Placed a cloth that stops the weeds from coming up but allowes the rain to come down - and carried lots of granite chippings to the flowerbed. And this is how it looks.I hope that I will have very little work to do in this part of the garden for many years. (But the edge alon the fence is very green - full of ground elder leaves)

This part of the gardenwas filled with "Ground elder" (Goat weed). plus a lot of rubbish.Again I have cleaned the soil for weed roots. Got rid of most of the rubbish. laid the garden tiles and placed first the cloth and then the Granite chippings

Elegant Parakete.A beautifull bird. Part of the Grass paraketes. They are quiet birds but becomes more lively in the evenings. Can stand the cold weather in Denmark as long as they are protected against draft and wind. Half of the avery has a roof and walls

My lovely Gloster Fancy Canary. The canaries can also manage the hard winters in Denmark. But then again they too need protection against draft and wind

Hi Birthe - what a wonderfully diverse garden you have, with so many forms of life - both plants, fish, birds and dogs! :)

Hope to see some more photos from you when summer kicks in.

Your garden looks fanciful, like a fairytale. I can imagine you sitting amidst your roses reading "Alice in Wonderland."
