Last year Kirsten wrote about trying in vain to get seeds from Cannaes to grow.
This year I tried to place Cannae seeds to grow in a box for sprouting seeds.
Usually seeds start to grow in the box within a few days - but no - not these seeds.
After a month I gave up and dropped all the seeds in a glass with water. placed it in the Window with much sun - and !! after nearly 2 month the first seed began to grow.
Out of almost 25 seeds I now have 3 pots with 3 seeds.

Now I am nervous that I might do something to make them die during the winter
Usually they do not have leaves during the winther. Or do they - can they?
I think I have another seed starting to break through the thick shell
 My seeds are from yellow and red cannae. But in the end I got the seeds mixed up so now I do not know what they will be.
Has anybody any expirence in making these seeds grow. I would like to hear about it.
