What a wonderfull summer we have.

My griffon had puppies  - just one puppy - and that means spending the summer in the garden.
Most of the roses are resting now before starting again.

Every morning starts with the fishpond - feeding the fish - seing them coming up to eat. And then what is new?

Now the purple phlox have started  - next comes the rosa and white phlox - and Astilbe chinensis var. pumila with it's beautiful reddish-pink flowers
Hosta Siboldiana is taking up a lot of space - excatly where needed.

The fight against "Creeping Jenny",  Lysimachia nummelaria, has started. Otherwise she will take over too much.

It's a lovely time

Hi Birthe - indeed it's a wonderful summer! :)

And surprisingly the Svane and Dog seem to get along fine!? hehe.

You have a lot of things to manage in your garden - it's a bit simpler on my balcony. I probably should have gotton some Hostas like you for ground cover because one of my Clematis wilted - the one standing in the sun. I believe Clematis don't like sunlight on the root stem. Ofcourse it could have been a million other things..
