Signs of spring on my balcony

If freesia is supposed to be a sign of spring then hmm.. we have some way to go.

Just to kickstart things a bit I bought a few potted flowers. Except for forget me not I have forgotten the names of most of them.

Cute flower but what is it named?

Im particularly happy that the chrysanthemum that was flowing late into november has survived the frost. Ofcourse if last year is anything to go by then it will take a while before it flowers again.

I cannot wait until spring! When I see your flowers in the pots I really wish that the winter is over soon. Although I got some flowers delivered, especially pansies, to make myself feel a little bit better, it's not the same as when you grow your own flowers (and vegetables) :) I really hope the new season starts soon!
